Being a =PUF= member, you take pride in wearing the =PUF= tag and are apart of a brotherhood. As a member you are expected to:
Generally speaking…
1. =PUF= requires absolute loyalty of its members to the clan. Dual membership in another clan or operating your own clan is absolutely unacceptable. Solicitation for membership in another clan is ground for immediate discharge from =PUF=.
2. The =PUF= tag assigned to you upon joining =PUF= is to remain with you for the rest of your service with =PUF=. Under no circumstances shall you change or modify it. Your tag is your identity to the world; it is who you are and what you stand for. You shall take pride in it and shall defend it against imposters.
3. Your conduct and behavior while wearing =PUF= tag is a reflection of not just you as an individual but also of =PUF= as a whole. Therefore it is strongly advised that you observe the =PUF= Clan Code of Conduct (C3) and all policies and procedures while wearing the =PUF= tag. Racism is neither condoned nor accepted in any form, shape or size. For example, a Confederate flag avatar is not allowed to be posted or used as a symbol to identify =PUF= individually or collectively.
4. All grievances/issues/disciplines action items shall be brought forward to =PUF= Clan's Admins, which is made up of elected directors of =PUF=.
5.You are responsible for all game play on your account. No exception.
6. We are an International Clan, but you must be able to speak English, even broken English is acceptable.
7. Any player name changes need to be approved by =PUF= Clan's Admins.
On the battlefield…
1. To promptly come to the aid of your wounded =PUF= teammates if you are a medic.
2. If one =PUF= is intentionally team killed that player will removed immediately from the server if apology is not offered.
3. To join other =PUF= on the same team when you first enter server. It is unethical for one =PUF= to kill another =PUF=. The exception to this rule is when the server is not full. We should always support other clan players. This rule applies to our 26 slot server only.
4. To NEVER put down another =PUF= member in public. All grieves/frictions/disagreements must be resolved within the clan via TS/Vent, forums, and/or email. Do not overwhelm communication channel during games with questions/discussions over these matters, instead use =PUF= TS/Vent, forums, and/or email for this type of discussion.
5. Foul language is not ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN in game chat or server admin message, but try to keep it to a minimum. If you must use profanity please reserve for TS/Vent, forums, and/or email. If you get killed, that tells you of your need to learn your weakness and improve your combat skills. Trying to make up for your poor skill with verbal assault against Opfor player is a pitiful Act.
6. =PUF= takes pride in fair play. Weapon cloning as well as any kind of hacks are prohibited while you are wearing =PUF= tag.
7. At times where we are tactically superior to the Opfor, it is not acceptable for =PUF= grunts to rub it into Opfor faces or taunt them. A humble attitude is the signature of maturity and self-confidence. When you are good everyone knows it and you need not brag about it like a ten years old child.
While using a communication tool (TS/Vent)…
No member is to discuss any clan business on vent under any circumstances in public channels. Always drop to a different channel.
1. Announce your arrival in channel; acknowledge your fellow members.
2. Respect all other =PUF= members, allies, and guests.
3. If you do not like what you hear on a particular channel, leave or change to a different one.
4. If you came to rid yourself of the demons of the day, please do not subject fellow members to excessive rants of psychosis. We have a channel for this: Chat Room.
While using forums…
There are a few ground rules in posting on this subject. Failure to comply with the rules will result in post deletion.
No member is to discuss any clan business under any circumstances in public forums. Always stick to the member sections of the forums.
1. Logic in argument is more than welcomed even if it is utterly politically incorrect.
2. Difference in opinion, no matter how strangely and extremely different it may be, is more than welcomed. If anyone finds it offensive, please do not even participate in the thread.
3. Thinking outside the box is acceptable no matter how eccentric it is. If it is dumb, you just make a butt joke of yourself but that is not a reason for anyone else to take it as an offense.
4. However, name calling is not acceptable. If you are critical of an issue or someone, you must substantiate your criticism with facts and evidence. Failure to comply with this rule means your criticism is merely a personal attack without merit and therefore shall be deleted.
5. For example, if you make this statement "Bush is stupid" without pointing out any fact and/or logical explanation to justify your statement then it is merely a senseless personal attack. In this case your post may be deleted. Multiple repetition of such behavior is subject to policy and discipline and may result in a ban from posting on this forum.
6. The bottom line here is that debate is thought provoking and beneficial as long as it is kept civil. A thought provoking debate shall not be allowed to degenerate into a senseless name calling shouting match.
